| In 2012 after several years of a pilot study, a recommendation was made to the school board to support the implementation of iPads at Leland Public Schools. The devices will be one-to-one in grades 3 through 12 and two-to-one in grades k through 2. At the same time, a recommendation was made to further support the Bring Your Own Device program by implementing a virtual desktop initiative. This network structure will provide all network users with a menu of programs regardless of the device used to access the network. |
